Meyers Associates, Three Former Brokers Named In FINRA Complaint

In a complaint filed on April 8, 2015, FINRA's Department of Enforcement alleges New York City broker-dealer Meyers Associates and three of its former brokers violated multiple FINRA rules and federal securities laws in connection with certain securities.

Meyers Associates, L.P., (BD No.34171), George Johnson (CRD #2245802), Christopher Wynne (CRD #4055280) and Joseph Mahalick (CRD #5563167) are named as respondents in the case. In the 44-page complaint, the alleged violations are summarized as market manipulation, dissemination of false and misleading marketing and sales materials, fraudulent omission of conflicts of interest, unauthorized disclosure of confidential information, falsification of firm records, failure to supervise the individuals involved in the violative activities and failure to employ Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies and procedures designed to detect suspicious securities transactions.
